What You See

Perspective

Here are a few pictures I took today with Onyx and Jesse Tranvaag:

Jesse is working with Christine Spilka to make the soundtrack for A Greater Binghamton Area and Onyx is cute so he's now my mascot :p

I didn't get as much attention from the media exposure as I had hoped but I still have 14 days to go so I'm going to stop looking at the glass being half empty and do my best.

We got coverage Woohoo!!

I contacted Mayor Ryan today and hopefully that contact will be fruitful. I also contacted some BU alumni in the entertainment industry ... through Twitter because they're big names and I don't have access to their personal contact information.

Talked to Jason Fiume from the Roberson Museum, and I will keep contacting people today.

Renewed Vigor.

OH! and to clarify, when I say things like "We got Coverage" I don't mean I'm working with a documentary team, I mean everyone who is supporting me and myself.

I've gotten good feedback from some BU alumni. Go Colonials/Bearcats!

Baiting The Water

16 days and only 25% funded this is emotional torture. Not enough people are seeing my campaign and that is a problem. I feel like I have been doing everything right thus far, I'm just not as good at it as I need to be. I don't know how to tweet effectively, I don't know how to utilize Linkedin or any other networking site. I've learned the steps but the dance isn't smooth and I'm running out of time.

Jessi has been helping me revamp the blog as I'm sure you've noticed if you're reading this but it might be too late. I got the press release sent out finally which is frustratingly late in the game but whatever better late than never. Because of the press release I was interviewed by no less than five news stations this morning whilst making a time lapse in the downtown area.

I coupled the video with an original rough-cut song by Jesse Tranvaag who will be collaborating with Christine Spilka in order to create the final soundtrack and bonus CD for the film.

I also talked to a stranger named Jason today who renewed my documentary energy which had recently been smothered by the labors of fundraising.

Here's the video:

Onyx Concept

Titles, Tweets, and Trials

Take The Next Right

Noman's Land

I am in the middle. I've heard this moment existed but you can know all about something and still not be ready for it. The middle of a KickStarter campaign is a rut that's super hard to get out of, but Jessi and I have been hatching plans, I might have a meeting with the press this week at some point which will help... I've resorted to making a video of Onyx, my baby Red Footed Tortoise.
